Privacy Policy

Last updated: 14 August 2026

MySalonSlot ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website to discover salons and make bookings, how we use it, and the choices you have. MySalonSlot is a free booking platform — we do not take payments, so we never collect or store card, bank, or UPI details.

1. Information we collect

  • Booking details you give us: your name and mobile number, plus the salon, service, stylist, date and time you choose. This is the minimum needed to hold and confirm a booking.
  • Usage & device data: pages viewed, salons and services clicked, approximate device type, referring site and a randomly generated visitor ID. This is collected only when you allow analytics cookies.
  • Support messages: anything you send us through the contact form.

We do not require you to create an account, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

2. How we use your information

  • To create, confirm and let you track your booking.
  • To share the necessary booking details with the salon you booked, so they can serve you.
  • To understand which salons and services are popular and improve the platform (aggregated analytics).
  • To respond to your enquiries and, where you have opted in, send you occasional offers.

3. Who we share it with

We share your name, mobile number and appointment details only with the specific salon you book, so they can prepare for your visit. We may share limited technical data with service providers who help us run the site (for example hosting). We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

4. How long we keep it

Booking records are retained for a reasonable period to support operations and any disputes, after which they are deleted or anonymised. Analytics data is stored in aggregate.

5. Your choices & rights

  • Control analytics and marketing cookies any time via the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer.
  • Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.

6. Cookies

We use cookies as described in our Cookie Policy. Essential cookies keep the site working; analytics and marketing cookies are used only with your consent.
